I had a lot of fun making this gents' ring with the big bear claws on both sides. I've never made anything like it before, and am always up for a challenge. In fact, I love making jewelry for men and wish more men wore jewelry in this part of the country. The gentleman had a large size hand and the ring is a real hunk (of gold), just like him. The stone has a twin that his wife wears and both are family heirlooms. 14KW.

After my husband’s death, it was very important to me to keep our rings together in a setting of some type. It took several years to find the right person to create my memory-keeper. When my husband was in the hospital I always wore his wedding ring on a chain along with a heart he had given me.
