Crosses
Spirituality is a personal journey of self discovery and when a person wears a cross their relationship with its’ symbology is very private and has meaning that is unique to them. The cross is one of the most ancient human symbols. It is not know when the first cross was made; after circles, crosses are one of the first symbols drawn by children of all cultures. They are frequently representational of the division of the world into the four elements, earth, wind, air and fire, or alternately as the union of the concepts of heaven and earth; the divinity and the world. Crosses have been worn as personal adornment throughout the ages and we have designed a variety of special crosses to represent those very concepts; personal and unique, in gold and silver.
After my husband’s death, it was very important to me to keep our rings together in a setting of some type. It took several years to find the right person to create my memory-keeper. When my husband was in the hospital I always wore his wedding ring on a chain along with a heart he had given me. After his death, when I wanted to make our rings into something permanent, most jewelers suggested melting the rings down or reshaping them into a totally new design.
